On the 18th August 2008 the club commemorated its 30th Anniversary.  A historic date for our club that celebrated 30 years of hard work and success.  During the last five years the club continued to be run practically by the same Committee members.  This showed the trust of our members in those persons who sacrifice many of their spare time to run the club in a professional manner.  From the year 2003 to this present date, it was a period of great success since our beloved team secured further achievements with the winning of three Championships, two Italian Cups and three Super Cups.

During the last five years our club was practically completely refurbished.  New tables and chairs were bought for the bar hall and two new projectors were installed in the bar hall and main hall. This most probably makes us the only club in Malta having three big screens for our members to watch their team playing.  The Committee also made the necessary repairs in the ceiling of the main hall.  New air-conditioning units were installed and the floor tiles were polished as new within the club’s premises.  These works gave the club a completely fresh look and those who frequent the club may now enjoy a very clean and modern environment.

The club took the necessary steps to keep abreast with modern technology.  A website has been launched and is kept updated in such a way to be one of the best websites in Malta.  Same is very frequently updated for the benefit of our members in order to keep them adjourned with the latest news and activities of the club.  Our website is run by our webmasters Stefan Alessandro and Alex Attard.  Today the club boasts with a modern and sophisticated software to keep the records of our hundreds of members, which system is run by our most dedicated Secretary Joseph Mula.

Another distinguished initiative taken by our club was to periodically produce a number of metal pins sets to commemorate various phases of the Inter history.  These pins (badges) were liked by many including Inter FC President Dott. Massimo Moratti.  In fact two sets were presented to him in a recent visit to his offices by our club President John Zammit, Treasurer Lawrence Cutajar and club’s Team Coach Raymond Camilleri.

These last five years were also excelled with various visits to Milan to watch our team perform and also on the official side many meetings were held with various directors of Inter FC including President Massimo Moratti.

The Club has lately engaged in a 720-page publication entitled ‘100 ANNI INTER’ which was favourably received by the different sectors of the Maltese society.  This idea was undoubtedly the greatest winner within the last five years.

Again, the 30th Anniversary, like the 25th, is not the end but again the start of a new chapter.  There are many other projects planned for the near future.  Without doubt those involved will continue to strengthen the success of our beloved club that today is the envy of all other clubs in Malta and even abroad.

Last positive note.  On the 26th November 2008, a delegation from our club led by our club’s President John Zammit and accompanied by other committee members, visited Inter President Massimo Moratti.  In this special occasion President Moratti was presented with a copy of our book ‘100 ANNI INTER’ who was greatly impressed by our publication.  The first words of Dott. Moratti were “Sono molto contento di ricevere l’Inter Club Malta – il club piu rappresentativo dell’Inter nel mondo”.  Without doubt these compliments continue to encourage us to work harder for our beloved club – the house of INTERNAZIONALE FC supporters in Malta.
